Cancer is one of the major causes of death and disability in many communities. For several reasons,especially in recent years,we are faced with an increase in prevalence and decrease in the age of people with this disease in our country. Considering the importance of prevention in Cancer Control Programs,in order to cancer risk factors reduction and outbreak rate in the country,the West Asia Cancer Conference will be held at the Iran National Library Conference Center on the 17th to 19th of November,2016.This conference,in addition to the attending prominent scholars,doctors and the cancer specialists,will also be attended by stakeholders in the other medical fields. The conference will facilitate the gathering of the latest scientific research results. it is also intended to prepare a means for the participation and consultation of experts and professionals from different disciplines and the whole set of organizations that can lead the way in future strategies for cancer prevention.
